This was an amazing experience. Our guide led us to locations we wouldn't have accessed alone and shared fascinating insights about history and culture at every stop. The visit to the Hogan is a must. I highly recommend this tour.
Sabrina provided exceptional service as our guide, showing great knowledge and respect for the sacred land. She took us to all the significant sites in the area, making our experience feel truly otherworldly. We are grateful to Sabrina for sharing her beautiful valley with us and look forward to returning for the sunset tour.
We booked the 2.5-hour Back Country Tour through the provider's website. Sabrina, the manager of Navajo Guided Tour, welcomed us warmly and our conversation was engaging, especially since she had spent some time in France. Then, we were handed over to her uncle Larry, our guide and driver. We had an amazing morning with Larry, who shared the history and names of the valley, the rocks, and flowers, while sprinkling in anecdotes. At one stop, we even met some horses, and Larry was just as excited as we were to take pictures. This tour was a magical experience and the highlight of our trip in the American West. Everything was driven by the passion of the wonderful people who hosted us. Thank you for organizing everything so perfectly!
Our tour with Dinehbekeyah was led by Joe, who proved to be an outstanding guide. He provided us with an unforgettable 3.5-hour experience exploring Monument Valley and Mystery Valley, offering deep insights into the Navajo Nation and assisting us with photography.
The tour was excellent overall. I appreciated the cultural insights provided by our guide, Larry, who also took photos for us due to the small group size on a cloudy day, which was a highlight. However, the vehicle was in rough shape, with seats that were uncomfortably upright and narrow. This made it difficult for my friend, who had arranged the tour for us, to participate because of her back condition. If you have any mobility concerns, consider opting for a tour in a more enclosed vehicle.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2.5-hour tour in Monument Valley. It was just us on the tour, and the guide kindly took photos for us and showed us his home in the valley. It was a wonderful experience.
We had to cancel our plans due to illness, so I’m giving a 1-star rating because it seems inappropriate to request a review when we were unable to participate.
It was a wonderful experience, and the guide captured some stunning photos.
We would rate this a 10-star experience. This trip is highly recommended, especially for those interested in Monument Valley's history and culture. We wished the tour would last longer. Our guide, Tim, provided a kind and thorough experience with his deep personal knowledge, gentle demeanor, and love for the land, making us desire more. This was a major highlight not just of our trip, but of our lives—an unforgettable and enriching experience. Thank you, Tim, Sabrina, and everyone involved in making this possible. It was incredible.
Exploring Monument Valley with Larry was an outstanding experience. He proved to be an excellent guide, sharing extensive knowledge about the Navajo tribe in a clear and engaging manner. His familiarity with the best locations allowed us to capture stunning photos. For a memorable and informative tour, I highly recommend choosing Larry.
