We explored four fantastic breweries that we likely wouldn't have discovered on our own, and he even dropped us off at an additional brewery I was interested in visiting. We had a fantastic afternoon! Ken's expertise in beer history and the production process was impressive. With a small group, we received plenty of personal attention. Each of the four stops was excellent, and the lunch at the third stop was exceptional. The chef shared details about the salsa trio, wings, salad, and brisket chili with quesadillas. Great job, Ken!

I had an excellent experience. There was an abundance of beer and a pleasant small lunch. I really appreciated learning about the history of the stops as well as Milwaukee's brewing.
My husband and I are fans of craft beer and hoped this tour would introduce us to new Milwaukee spots. We visited four breweries: Lakefront, Dead Bird, Hacienda, and Gathering Place. Our guide, Ken, was friendly, well-informed about the brewing process, and open to questions. He performed admirably. However, we found the beers mostly just okay and lacking excitement. It was unusual that Ken led the behind-the-scenes aspects of the tour; in our previous experiences, this was usually done by owners or staff. Additionally, none of the brewery personnel acknowledged our presence or expressed gratitude for our visit, despite the group size of 12. Lunch at Hacienda was mediocre, not particularly memorable. While we would consider returning to Lakefront, where we already enjoy their beers, we wouldn’t choose the others again. As for transportation, Ken’s van can fit up to 14, but it felt cramped even with 12 passengers.
I had a great time even though I'm not a beer drinker. It was fascinating to learn about the brewing process. There were a few beers that I would consider trying. It's disappointing that we couldn't visit one of the breweries due to the many activities happening.
