Top 1 food & drink things to do in Kingston

Kingston on a fork. Walking food tours through the markets, cooking classes with local chefs, tasting flights at the bars worth your time, and a couple of long lunches that double as the day's plan.

Two hours aboard the Island Belle — cocktails, scenic views of Kingston, and light music on a floating patio atmosphere.

I booked the Sunset Cruise with a Premium Table, and although I was happy to pay extra for better seating, the entertainment fell short. In previous years, Mr. Bridges provided engaging comedy, and there was informative commentary about the Royal Military College, Fort Henry, and the Thousand Islands. The meal was very slow to arrive, and when it finally did, my table received uneven portions—one person had a large serving of beef while the rest of us got barely enough. It felt unprofessional for the waitress to repeatedly ask us to tip generously, especially since it was already stated on the menu. I will not be returning, despite having previously recommended this cruise to my guests. For nearly $500 for four people, the experience did not match the price.savvytravellers2008
