Two hours aboard the Island Belle — cocktails, scenic views of Kingston, and light music on a floating patio atmosphere.
This two-hour sunset cocktail cruise allows you to relax aboard the Island Belle on the St. Lawrence River. Enjoy the open-air top deck as you take in views of Fort Henry, the Royal Military College, local islands, and Kingston's skyline. The atmosphere resembles a floating patio, making it ideal for an evening outing.
The cruise caters to those aged 19 and over. Sip on cocktails and VQA wines while light music plays in the background. Be sure to arrive with a valid ID, as age restrictions are enforced.

I booked the Sunset Cruise with a Premium Table, and although I was happy to pay extra for better seating, the entertainment fell short. In previous years, Mr. Bridges provided engaging comedy, and there was informative commentary about the Royal Military College, Fort Henry, and the Thousand Islands. The meal was very slow to arrive, and when it finally did, my table received uneven portions—one person had a large serving of beef while the rest of us got barely enough. It felt unprofessional for the waitress to repeatedly ask us to tip generously, especially since it was already stated on the menu. I will not be returning, despite having previously recommended this cruise to my guests. For nearly $500 for four people, the experience did not match the price.
The cruise experience was wonderful. The dinner was truly exceptional; we enjoyed three beef short rib dishes and one pickerel, all of which were delicious. Our server, Ayden, was outstanding, and we have nothing but praise for him and the entire dining experience.
I had an incredible time with my friends in August. Even though it was quite hot, we remained comfortable and really enjoyed the food. The music was enjoyable, and we had a chance to go up top for photos. We opted for an edge seat at a premium, but any table is nice with the covid safety measures in place. The staff was really friendly, and boarding was simple with some interesting insights provided along the way. I would certainly recommend this experience; it's a fantastic way to see the island, especially since travel cruises are not available right now.
We had an unforgettable time on the Kingston 1000 Islands Sunset Dinner Cruise. Every aspect of the evening was flawlessly executed from the moment we boarded. Upgrading to premium seating was a great choice, as the views were breathtaking, with the Saint Lawrence River, Lake Ontario, and Rideau Canal merging beautifully. We were greeted with a cheese plate right at our seats, and the live entertainment paired wonderfully with our three-course dinner, especially the delicious Braised Short Rib. By the end of the night, most guests were on the dance floor. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Kingston; you will truly enjoy every moment.
We enjoyed a delightful two-hour sunset harbor cruise on July 4th. Our cruise director, Greg, provided engaging insights about the sights we encountered. The sunset was stunning viewed from the water, and as we docked, the lights in the waterfront buildings added to the magical ambiance. We highly recommend this experience, but be sure to bring a jacket since it was breezy out on the water.
The cruise itself was decent, but I had the unfortunate experience of being on the same boat as a loud and inconsiderate group. They talked, screamed, and laughed, making it impossible to hear any historical information. They also ignored clear signs not to sit on the dock and smoked weed in a public area with children present. To top it off, they weren't wearing masks despite being in close quarters. The crew seemed absent and did nothing until a complaint was made to management. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and while I don't think this happens regularly, I consider myself unlucky.
With wedding season approaching, I strongly advise against using this venue for your special day. In the lead-up to the wedding I attended last October, I found it impossible to get in touch by phone, and my emails went unanswered. On the night of the cruise, the decorations were missing, tables had been rearranged incorrectly, and our itinerary was ignored (the boat even made a U-turn after we raised concerns). The food service was excessively slow, meals were wrong, and served cold. To make matters worse, the bride and groom received their meals last. When we tried to voice our concerns, the staff refused to help us, claiming it wasn't their issue. The only positive was the excellent DJ, who noticed the poor service and offered us contact information for follow-up. Unfortunately, it took months to receive a partial refund. We enjoyed a lovely evening with friends and family despite the terrible service, but none of us will consider another cruise, nor recommend it as a wedding venue in the future.
I expected a unique experience for the evening with the sunset aperitif on the boat, but I was disappointed to find out after paying that the aperitif wasn't included. Essentially, it was just a typical sunset hike. The additional drinks were just bagged chips and canned beverages, which felt quite lacking for an aperitif. The ride was nice, but I don't think it warranted the cost.
This tour of the islands was fantastic. We enjoyed a lovely evening with wonderful commentary and music. It was a lot of fun for everyone involved.
The guide was nice, and I found the cruise enjoyable. However, if you've already experienced the 3-hour daytime cruise, there's really no need to do the evening one.
