• The journey covers 64 miles along one of the most picturesque coastal routes, featuring 640 twists and turns and 59 single-lane bridges crafted from concrete and steel, built in the early 1900s, adding to its adventurous nature. • A bamboo forest runs parallel to the highway. • At Hookipa Beach, renowned as the windsurfing hub of the world, visitors can observe windsurfers, kiteboarders, and surfers as they take on the ocean's waves and coastal winds. This area is also known for the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, with 200-pound turtles often seen feeding along the shore and sunbathing on the beach. • Ho’okipa Beach Park, located at Mile #9 on Hâna Highway (36), is a premier venue for ocean sports and recreation in Maui. Its stunning white sand beach is famous for its surf since the 1930s, hosting notable events like the Aloha Classic and various surfing competitions endorsed by the Maui Sports Foundation. Stops can be arranged upon request. • Known as the "Three Bears Waterfalls," this picturesque waterfall is visible from a moving tour bus. • There are two waterfalls on the Mauka side of the park frequented by locals for swimming.
