Dell was truly outstanding. He was incredibly patient and addressed numerous questions. Most importantly, his safe driving was the best part of the package. The road to Hana can be challenging if you drive alone, but having Dell likely saved my marriage by relieving us from the hassles of navigation, parking, traffic, and finding places to eat.
The tour was enjoyable. Our van driver and guide demonstrated great knowledge of the area. However, there were a couple of stops we wished to make, like Twin Falls, and we would have preferred more time at some locations. Overall, it was a good experience.
The guide was excellent, and the duration spent at each location was just right. I especially appreciated the banana bread and the stunning black sand beach.

There were plenty of tasty stops for chocolate, ice cream, and banana bread, ensuring we were never hungry, plus lunch was included. Mahalo.
The day spent in the van was lengthy, but we had plenty of stops, and the sights we experienced were stunning and perfect for photographs. Our driver expertly handled the narrow curves and shared insightful commentary.
The journey along the Road to Hāna with Dell as our driver was incredible. I felt very secure with his driving skills, and he ensured that everyone was accounted for at every stop. I would absolutely choose this tour again, and I must mention that the sub we had for lunch was fantastic.
Our pickup by Dell at the condo was a great convenience for the early 6:00 am tour. Dell was personable and knowledgeable, expertly navigating the narrow, winding roads. His experience was clear as we crossed bridges meant for single vehicles, and he was courteous with other drivers unfamiliar with the right of way. The tour offered a full rainforest experience, and it's essential to bring a rain jacket or poncho. The waterfall's water temperature was 50 degrees, so be sure to have something warm for after in the air-conditioned van. The sandwich we had was tasty, but during a heavy downpour without a covered area, an umbrella would have been helpful; we ended up getting soaked. Having a towel for the van would also be beneficial. The tour met all descriptions, and both the waterfalls and scenery were stunning. The banana bread was exceptionally good—I bought four loaves to share with family back at the condo, and everyone loved them. We tried the original for those with nut allergies and the macadamia nut variety, which was the favorite. The pineapple flavor was nice but not as impressive. Seeing around 50 turtles on the beach was incredible. The best part of the day was not having to worry about navigating or deciding on stops—it made for a truly enjoyable and stress-free nine hours in Maui.
