Four hours including a local market tour and hands-on cooking — learn to prepare traditional Thai dishes with guidance tailored for all skill levels, including dietary accommodations.

Apple proved to be an excellent teacher. The communication before the class was straightforward and effective. Our day started with a trip to a local market to gather ingredients, followed by heading to Apple's kitchen where we recreated dishes chosen from a diverse selection. Everyone contributed to preparing each dish, and we took turns cooking our specific choices while others observed to learn how to make all the prepared dishes.deborahwB6473IK

Three-hour hands-on cooking class in a garden setting, focusing on authentic Thai cuisine with chef Wandee, featuring gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

This experience was incredible and truly enjoyable. We visited the market to purchase authentic handmade curry paste that smelled amazing, as well as organic raw coconut oil, which is excellent for skin. The cooking class featured delightful dishes, alternating between spring rolls and papaya salad, and then we made either panang chicken or prawns, or Tom yum soup. I was excited to learn the traditional Thai cooking methods! The little details, like crushing lemongrass and onion, significantly enhanced the flavor, making everything delicious.P600KRdanam

Fourteen days after our visit, I feel compelled to express how this experience truly transformed my life. I've wanted to visit an elephant sanctuary for years, but it never felt like the right moment until now. Through my research, I discovered Khao Lak sanctuary, and I can’t express how grateful I am for that. The experience was perfectly guided and structured, far exceeding my expectations. The sanctuary staff has created something remarkable. The elephants were incredible, and the spacious environment made us feel welcome from the very start. I want to give special thanks to Win, our guide, whose compassion and wisdom made the day unforgettable. He is a real treasure, and I hope everyone who visits Khao Lak has the chance to benefit from his insights and love for both people and animals. Additionally, it was my birthday on the day of our visit, and the staff surprised me with a wonderful cake, completely complimentary. My boyfriend also left his wallet, which contained all of his important documents and cash, at the sanctuary. Win ensured that it was returned to our hotel after the tour, reaffirming my faith in humanity and making my birthday just that much more special. The warmth I felt from the kind-hearted Tai people and Khao Lak sanctuary will always hold a special place in my heart. If you're contemplating whether to book a tour, I urge you—don’t hesitate. This experience is the most loving gift you can give yourself, and I promise you won’t regret it.Monika_J

The day trip offered a diverse range of scenery. I really enjoyed the longboat ride, and the sea canoe experience was fantastic. I had to lie down to enter the caves, which added to the adventure. The views were breathtaking, and Marta, our guide, was excellent—very helpful and knowledgeable.
