Reviews
My review focuses on customer service rather than the displays themselves. I had bought tickets for MOTF for me and my elderly parents, aged 90 and 84, who have limited mobility, for March 3rd. However, due to the conflict in the Middle East and the Dubai government's advice to stay indoors to avoid danger from falling debris, we decided not to go. I couldn’t ensure my parents' safety if any issues arose. When I sought a refund from MOTF, my request was denied because I hadn't selected the cancellation option and paid the extra fee for it. I argued that a war was an unexpected situation when I booked, but they informed me that Force Majeure was included in their policy. They claimed they were open and running as usual despite the conflict, and if we prioritized safety over visiting the museum, we would have to cover the costs. I am appalled by the lack of empathy and the corporate mindset of MOTF. I have all email correspondence saved as proof if needed. This isn't a place meant to share knowledge; they use the term "Museum" to mislead us into thinking they have noble intentions, while they are simply another corporation out to make money.
The architecture of this building is impressive, and stepping outside under the arch is a nice touch. While the queue to enter can be lengthy and somewhat uncomfortable, the exhibits in the various rooms are worthwhile and make for a good visit.
The museum was engaging for both adults and children. There were no lengthy waits or queues. Highly recommended.
Everything was satisfactory, but it's essential to present the QR code along with your confirmation. Since the group was small, we were able to move through the process quickly.
The first hall was challenging to grasp and connect with, but the other levels were quite engaging. I especially enjoyed the floor dedicated to plants and animals. It offered valuable insights into what lies ahead.
