What's the itinerary?+
• The journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel or designated location in a comfortable 4WD vehicle, leading to the Lahbab desert. A brief interlude... Upon arrival at the desert, a 20-minute break is provided before the safari commences. You can unwind, utilize restroom facilities, or choose a Quad bike ride while the vehicle is prepared for an off-road dune drive. • Desert adventure period... Following that, a dune bashing ride lasting 30-45 minutes takes place. Experience the thrill as the Land Cruiser ascends and descends the sand dunes. Then, try your hand at desert sandboarding by standing on the wooden board provided and gliding across the sands. • Arrival at Al Khayma... Subsequently, the next stop is Al Khayma, a Bedouin-style campsite. You will be escorted to your own tent (Khayma) within the camp where you will be welcomed with Qahwa (Arabic coffee), Gaymat (sweets), and Dates. Time for a ‘desert ship ride’... Enjoy a Camel ride around the camp area, and depending on timing and luck, you may witness the sunset over the dunes. Leisure time... Back at Al Khayma Camp, you have the opportunity to try Shisha smoking, get Henna designs, and wear local Arabian attire for photographs with a Falcon. Savor a lavish barbecue buffet dinner accompanied by live entertainment shows. As the evening progresses, the camp lights will dim, allowing you to experience the serenity of the desert while partaking in a stargazing session with a telescope. • Fully immerse yourself in desert life with an overnight camp stay. A Camel ride will be arranged near the campfire where a demonstration on preparing Arabic coffee/tea will be conducted. Relax by the campfire under the desert sky while listening to engaging stories from your guide. When it's time to rest, you will return to your tent for sleep. Awaken 15 minutes before sunrise for a chance to witness it. Your guide will take you on a Camel caravan outside the camp for about 10-15 minutes of trekking, allowing you to capture the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. A freshly prepared Arabian breakfast will be served between 7:30 and 8:00 am at Al Khayma, concluding your overnight desert safari in Dubai. Later, a drop-off back at your hotel or location will be arranged.
