1Hourly rental of double kayaks to explore the serene salt marshes of Cape Island Creek with a friend.
“Earlier in the summer, I purchased some kayak rental discount certificates that were about to expire, so we decided to take a trip to Cape May on a beautiful day. Miss Chris Marina is conveniently located just off the main road into Cape May, though we missed the signage until we turned onto Wilson Ave, which our GPS guided us to. Once we arrived, we chose to rent two single kayaks instead of a double. The staff had everything prepared for us, and once we settled into the kayaks, we were smoothly launched into the water. They provided us with a map of the waterway and helpful tips, which was nice. The wind was quite strong that day, and although we had planned to explore for two hours, we returned in about an hour and fifteen minutes since kayaking against the wind was quite challenging. Nevertheless, we enjoyed being out in the sun and the salty air. When we got back, I called out, and someone came down to assist with bringing our kayaks back onto the dock. After retrieving our keys from the inside desk, we changed into dry clothes in the on-site restrooms. I highly recommend Miss Chris Marina for kayak rentals and launching your kayaking adventure.”— JulieA08904
2Two hours on the water renting single kayaks, with options for children, ideal for viewing local wildlife like Ospreys in the coastal salt marsh.
“We chose the self-guided tour featuring both single and tandem kayaks. Following the advice to head left, we paddled around the marina and reached the railroad bridge. The wind made our outward journey challenging, but we had an easier return. It’s virtually impossible to get lost. We encountered American oystercatchers and ospreys along the way. The gear was excellent, accommodating our varying skill levels.”— lindamM430VH
3Three-hour cruise into Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean, with expert narration and sightings of marine wildlife such as dolphins and whales.
“While the whales were elusive, the dolphins were very active. A big thanks to the captain for extending our time on the water in hopes of spotting the whales.”— Daniel_M
