The hiking trips were definitely the best part of my inaugural experience in Norway. I had the good fortune of finding a guide who truly loves nature and catered to my preferences and abilities, providing me with an exceptional taste of the Nord to take home. Don't worry if you're unsure about your fitness level; the hikes will be tailored to suit your needs. Just bring your adventurous spirit and appreciation for nature, and Ivar, our guide, will inspire you to push your limits.
We had an incredible day hiking in Bodø. The scenery was stunning, and our guide Ivar was excellent, offering us choices and sharing plenty of information about the area while ensuring our safety. We enjoyed some time exploring on our own as well as with Ivar. I highly recommend this experience.
This experience is essential for seasoned hikers. The guide was fantastic, and the views and terrain were incredible. It's a definitely moderate to challenging trek, so be prepared to use your whole body and engage in climbing, sliding, and jumping. The scenery is the best part.
I had an incredible experience! The guides were not only friendly but also very informed about the local region. I appreciated the history lessons we shared during our conversations. I highly recommend this excursion for anyone looking to explore the countryside and connect with the land.
I had a fantastic hiking experience with Ivar close to Bodø. He is an excellent guide for small groups of 6-12 people. Ivar is incredibly kind and very well-prepared.
Our trail scouting along the coast to Hovdsundet Beach was a fantastic experience. Ivar, our guide, was attentive and ensured that everyone received the support they needed.
The hike was fantastic as it took us through a variety of landscapes, including rocks, forests, and sand, eventually leading to a stunning beach. We were able to navigate the trail effortlessly, thanks to Ivar, who is an excellent guide and revealed all the hidden paths to the most secluded areas. I highly suggest booking this experience.
Everything was flawless: excellent trekking and kindness. A fantastic local guide. I highly recommend this experience. Simply perfect. Thank you, Ivar! Silvia.
Hiking with Ivar was a fantastic experience for my group and me. We embarked on several memorable hikes, and Ivar proved to be both well-prepared and knowledgeable, while also providing plenty of laughs. He made our time in Bodo truly special, and I strongly recommend him as a guide.
In my view, this is undoubtedly the top attraction in Bodo. The stunning view at the mountain summit is truly awe-inspiring. The round trip took me 2.5 hours, including 30 minutes in the dark, and as a 61-year-old, I found the trek to be unexpectedly challenging and dangerous. I made numerous mistakes, so I’ll share some tips to help you prepare: wear proper boots, carry plenty of water and snacks, start early to avoid darkness, don’t hike alone, keep your phone charged, and avoid going if it’s wet or about to rain. If I hadn't encountered two kind 21-year-old Norwegian girls, I might not have made it back! Being well-prepared will enhance your experience. The trek has many tough and risky areas, so stay alert and focused. What you’ll find at the top is nature in its finest form. From the summit, you can see much of the beach and distant mountains, but if you head to the left, there’s a small ledge that offers a complete view of the beach, though the mountains aren't visible from below. I recommend visiting both spots for varied perspectives in your photos and videos. This is a must-do experience.
