Reviews
The walk along the Norwegian coastline was stunning. It was an easy trek, not too long or strenuous. We received spikes for the icy conditions and headlamps for visibility. The organization was highly professional, and our guides were friendly, sharing plenty of information about the region.
During our brief stop in Bodo on a Hurtigruten cruise, we decided to take the Winter Coastal Walk, and it was a fantastic experience. The tour was very well organized, with a warm and clean bus. Our driver did an excellent job. Despite the chilly weather and some wind, the two hours flew by as we enjoyed stunning seascapes. The walk was quite manageable, especially with the high-quality ice spikes provided for our shoes. The guides were both friendly and well-informed, sharing intriguing stories about the area's history and the Vikings. The excursion concluded perfectly with a cup of warm homemade herbal tea while overlooking Landegode Island.
We went on the Coastal walk during winter while in Bodo with the Hurtigruten. Despite the rain and wind, the scenery was spectacular. They provided ice spikes for our shoes, which were essential. It was refreshing to spend a few hours in nature.
We chose to take a coastal walk with Stella Polaris to gain insights about the area, and it exceeded our expectations. The 2.4-mile trek included fascinating information about Norway's creation, the Vikings, and we even passed a Viking burial ground. Our guide, David, was exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive. Each guest received crampons, and he was readily available to answer questions along the way. Spotting a White Tailed Eagle was a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend this company; it truly was a highlight of our trip to Norway.
We had great weather, which made this a wonderful walking experience. The coastline is truly stunning, and the beaches are lovely. After a 15-minute bus ride to the walking starting point, we enjoyed a 2km stroll with frequent updates from our guides, one for the English-speaking group and the other for the German speakers.
This was an incredible experience. The guide was approachable and had a great sense of humor. However, what truly stood out were the stunning views, which were absolutely otherworldly. I would highly recommend it.
The experience was both enjoyable and educational. Patricia, our guide, shared a wealth of information while ensuring everyone had the opportunity to appreciate and capture the stunning views. We were fortunate to hear a Sea Eagle, although we couldn’t see it.
