7Half-day guided fishing trip for peacock bass, largemouth bass, and clown knife fish in the Lake Ida Chain of Lakes, suitable for all skill levels.
“I arranged an 8-hour peacock bass fishing trip through bass online, who provided great insight into their fishing locations. Since we were staying in Pompano Beach, they suggested Lake Ida and set me up with Capt. John Larsen. He contacted me the day before to finalize details, asking about my targeted fish species. When I expressed a desire to focus on peacock bass, he explained the fishing technique and suggested how much live bait we'd need, assuring me he would have refreshments ready. Upon arrival at the ramp, Capt. John was fully prepared. We quickly got to our first spot, and as an experienced bass fisherman, I only needed a quick reminder about the technique. On my second cast, I hooked a fish that felt like setting on a rock, but after a strong fight, Capt. John successfully netted a 2.5-pound peacock bass. We caught over 30 fish that day, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Capt. John even took photos for me, capturing memorable moments. Booking with Capt. John Larsen is a must; his expertise ensures you’ll catch plenty of fish.”— bobs861

9Two to three hours of interactive fun—explore Boca Raton's hidden gems and compete in creative challenges through your phone with a live guide.
“I spent $80 for a group of four on this tour and was instructed to meet at 11 am to start our search from Tin Muffin Cafe in Boca. We wandered aimlessly, trying to locate places vaguely described in a PowerPoint sent to my phone. There was no guide present and no other participants in this so-called scavenger hunt. After expressing my concerns via text, they told me I had the highest score, but that was hardly impressive since my group was the only one there. I signed up for this tour because I was eager to see a statue of a woman featured in the advertisement, but when I inquired about its location and couldn’t find it in the PowerPoint, I was told it was a mistake made by the ad creators. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with little direction.”— Inspire699681
