Pick by host, not by activity. The "with the master craftsperson" tour is only as good as the master, and Abu Dhabi has wide variation. Read the experience host's profile (we link directly), check whether the experience is happening at their actual workshop/home/restaurant or at a generic venue, and look for a small group size cap.
Most unique experiences in Abu Dhabi book 2–4 weeks ahead, especially for hosts who only run them weekly. Photography during workshops is usually fine but ask. Tipping is appreciated for the longer hosted experiences (₹500–₹2000 per guest); it's not expected at gallery and museum private tours.
