You can slide standing up or sitting down according to your skill and comfort levels. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way, with occasional small wildlife that may make an appearance. The slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of the busier areas. The hike through the slot canyon is not difficult. It does include a small ladder near the beginning of the hike. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.
