2"The first stop on the itinerary is the Arch of Charents - monument-viewpoint of the Biblical Mt.Ararat. Next, the Pagan Temple of Garni - only standing Hellenistic pagan temple in the Caucasus Region, dating back to the first century AD - built as a temple to the sun god Mihr (Mithra). Geghard Monastery is part of the UNESCO world Heritage sights together with the Upper Azat Valley. Lake Sevan, second largest high-altitude fresh water lake in the world. Its sole major island (now a peninsula) is home to a medieval monastery providing panoramic views of the whole lake and surrounding mountains. Sevanavank Monastery was built in 9th century and houses one of the 4 remaining Amenaprkich Khachkars. The Monastery is woven into many important historic events and important battles. Dilijan also known as little Switzerland is a small town in the north surrounded by forests and mountains.
3On this 10-11-hour tour you will start by visiting Tsaghkadzor, translated as "valley of flowers" and situated on the slope of the mountain. Moving on, see Kecharis monastery complex in Tsaghkadzor. It is one of the most famous spiritual and cultural centers of medieval Armenia. Ride the ropeway before leading to Lake Sevan. After having rest on the lake, visit Sevanavank monastery on the Peninsula and admire the great view to the lake. Next you will visit Dilijan, which is usually called Armenian Switzerland for its fantastic natural forests. The town is a part of Dilijan National Park. The next stop is Haghartsin, a 10th century monastery which has been recently renovated by donation of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when visited it. Finally see Goshavank, another monastery surrounded by green territories. It also houses one of the world's finest examples of a "Khachkar" (Armenian cross-stone).
4This 11-12 hour tour starts by visiting Khor Virap monastery, the closest point to the Biblical mount Ararat on the territory of Armenia. It is a great place for embracing the most picturesque views of the mountain. Then visit the monastery complex Noravank, which is unique in its construction as the Church of Holy Mother of God is the only two-storied monastery in Armenia. Jermuk is another stop and is a resort city surrounded by wonderful nature. It is well-known due to its Gallery of Mineral Water where one can taste spring water with different temperatures and very nice waterfall. Finally, see Areni, one of the oldest settlements in Armenia which today is famous for its wines. It was here grapes were found that were 6000 years old.
5This 14-15-hour tour visits Khor Virap monastery with its magnificent view to Bibical mount Ararat. Next stop is at the monastery complex Noravank, unique in its construction as the Church of Holy Mother of God is the only two-storied monastery in Armenia. Next is Tatev monastery, a spiritual center that had outstanding scientific and political significance. The monastery is surrounded by beautiful nature. On the way back from Tatev you will take the world’s longest Cablecar without stops “Tatever”.

10Garni temple, one of the most famous historical and architectural monuments among tourists, is located in Kotayk province. It is the only structure preserved in Armenia from the pagan period, dedicated to the god Mihr. Before reaching the temple, we will have a stop on the way to Charents Arch, from where a wonderful view of Mount Ararat opens. Then we will visit Geghard Monastery (Ayrivank), where according to the legend, from the XIII century the spear with which Christ was pierced was kept here. As a part of the tour, we will visit the Azat River gorge, where we will see the “Symphony of Stones՛”, a miracle of nature. The natural monument, also known as the ՛՛Basalt Organ՛՛, is famous for its magnificent, seemingly artificial rocks.
