Private cars, exclusive access, the kind of small group that doesn't share the experience with strangers. Premium tours through Windermere for travellers whose calendar is the constraint, not the budget.
This tour allows you to visit two of the area's most popular tourist attractions, Aira force and Castlerigg stone circle. Both are not to be missed, and set amongst the Lake District National park's finest scenery. We will also drive over Kirkstone pass, the highest mountain pass in the Lake District, open to motor traffic with an altitude of 1,489 feet.
Grasmere and Hawkshead are certainly two of the most traditional, historical and adorable villages in the Lake District. On this tour you will visit both of these villages along with Tarn Hows and Blea Tarn, two of Lakeland's most popular and charming tarns. Picture perfect villages, unspoilt valleys, tarns, lakes and many more hidden gems are all part of this 6 hour tour.
Experience the exclusivity of chartering a 10 metre Oceanis Clipper sailing yacht on England's largest natural lake, Windermere. Get involved as much or as little as you like, or relax whilst you appreciate the yacht, amazing views and fresh Cumbrian air. A very extensive and locally sourced ploughman's is served in the second half of the trip with lots of delicious homemade additions. You may dine on deck if the weather permits, with views most restaurants can only dream of. We have a well stocked and reasonably priced bar on board, complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks. We even have a private bathroom and central heating! Having sailed on Windermere for 20 years I have plenty of stories to tell you about the Lake and thoroughly enjoy showing you how to sail on it in my fabulous yacht.
A full day Private guided tour is the ultimate way to get the very most out of your time in the Lake District. You will be able to sit back, relax and not have to worry about navigating your way around unfamiliar roads, but can just focus solely on the amazing countryside and breathtaking scenery. On this tour you will see beautiful lakes, spectacular waterfalls, traditional villages, and experience the thrill of driving over dramatic high mountain passes.
lakes, 3 waterfalls and the two most popular villages in the Lake District make this tour appealing all year round.
