• The day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Udaipur, as well as the railway or bus station, in the morning (see Departure Time for specific options). A drive of approximately 2 hours (subject to traffic conditions) will take you to Kumbhalgarh Fort, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you can learn about the fort's history while taking in its stunning views. Often known as "the great wall of India," it boasts the second-largest wall globally. Following this, a visit to the Jain Temple in Ranakpur will take place. It is thought that the temple was established in the 15th century under the guidance of Seth Dharna Shah, a Jain follower. He collaborated with Rana Kumbha, then the king of Mewar, who requested that the temple be named in his honor. The main chamber containing the idol of Adinath is accessible through four entrances. Additionally, five pillars within the temple each feature idols of various Tirthankaras. The central largest pillar displays the idol of Adinath.
