This was a fantastic 11-hour tour led by an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. He identified every bird and shared fascinating stories about the area's history. In Letea, we encountered stunning wild horses and unique trees, and learned about biology and botany. The lunch was excellent, and the dessert was unforgettable. We took a different route back, which we enjoyed despite the cold. Overall, this is an experience not to be overlooked, and we highly recommend adding it to your Tulcea itinerary.
The setting was stunning, and the English explanations were quite good. However, the total duration of 10 hours felt excessive. The jeep safari wasn’t needed, but the open boat ride was delightful, especially with a hat for sun protection, allowing us to see birds of prey in the sky and trees.

This company is among the best in the city, offering an open boat that enhances the experience of observing birds and enjoying the surroundings. The overall trip is lengthy, lasting 12 hours with around 6-7 hours on the boat and 5-6 hours traveling by car. Serghei and the staff provided excellent service, and lunch portions at the village were generous. While I particularly enjoyed the boat ride, I recommend opting for just the boat if you're pressed for time. It’s essential to bring binoculars, and there's also a shop where you can buy supplies before the trip, so there's no need for concern. The tour departs at 8:00 and returns by 20:00. Make sure to answer ticket questions accurately. This trip by car may not be suitable for older individuals or those with back issues, and if bathroom breaks are frequent, you should consider this before booking. Overall, it was a wonderful opportunity to observe the birds up close, and the guide spoke both English and Romanian. Thank you, Serghei and the team.
