“We enjoyed an exciting speedboat tour of the Danube Delta that was worth every penny. Our guide spoke excellent German and there were just five of us on the boat. He provided us with plenty of information about the delta, and we were fortunate to spot a couple of birds. He also gave us a map highlighting our route, which turned out to be a lovely keepsake. We were treated to water chestnuts, which was a unique experience for us. There was a stop on a small island for us to relax and purchase souvenirs. We ended up buying a book made from reeds and bark. I highly recommend this speedboat tour! If you have a trip planned to the Danube Delta in 2024, be sure to try the larger, tranquil boat as well.”— 809KlausB
