The staff were knowledgeable and easy to get along with. We spotted plenty of eagles and seals. The boat was tidy, and the salmon was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour.
The water tour around Skagway was fantastic. We were able to see waterfalls, seals, a sea lion, eagles, and scooters. Our captain Luke and guide Carrington were both friendly and very informative.
This intimate boat tour accommodates just two to five individuals, providing a great opportunity to ask questions and enjoy a more personalized experience.
Our morning was truly remarkable as we experienced some of Alaska's stunning waterfalls. Luke, our captain, was not only excellent but also incredibly knowledgeable about Skagway's environment. We definitely plan on returning for this adventure on our next visit.
It was absolutely stunning! We encountered numerous breathtaking waterfalls up close, along with incredible wildlife. The crew was excellent.
Captain Luke was truly outstanding! His boat provided an intimate experience with waterfalls and wildlife. He was very accommodating and well-informed. I would gladly take this tour again; it was my favorite part of Skagway!
Luke possessed a wealth of knowledge and shared information effortlessly with our group of three from the cruise ship. Although we were able to take our packet of salmon to taste later, the tour description suggested that we would enjoy it on crackers along with a local treat, which was not mentioned during the day. The boat cruise lasted 2.5 hours instead of the advertised 3 hours. I didn't mind this as it provided extra time in town, but it was somewhat confusing given the 3-hour title of the Alaska waterfalls tour. We did spot some harbor seals and a bald eagle.
We had Captain Luke guiding us, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about the waterways and waterfalls, as well as being kind and helpful. We encountered fantastic wildlife, including eagles and seals, and Luke even identified a sea lion that closely resembled a killer whale. Those sea lions were quite the tricksters, but they didn't outsmart Luke. He also treated us to some smoked salmon, along with drinks and hand wipes afterward. If you have the opportunity to embark on this amazing adventure, do not hesitate and definitely request Luke as your guide; he was outstanding! Whiskers Curious like a cat!
The tour operator canceled just an hour before our scheduled tour because there weren't enough participants, leaving us with a wasted day in Skagway. Now, three days later, I'm still waiting for my $440 refund. This has been a dreadful experience with no justifications. Proceed with caution.
The crew was fantastic—fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable. We witnessed stunning waterfalls, a few baby bald eagles, white goats, and sea otters. It was a wonderful day overall.
