I opted for the 4-hour Resurrection Bay tour, and it exceeded my expectations for the price. The duration was ideal, and I was treated to stunning views along with an abundance of wildlife: whales, otters, sea lions, seals, jellyfish, dolphins, bald eagles, and more that I've forgotten. The boat was clean and roomy. A special thanks to the incredibly friendly staff—Karlee, Logan, and Ryo—who enhanced the experience. Captain Emma was outstanding, expertly handling the boat and sharing her knowledge about the area and its wildlife. This tour should definitely be on your must-do list when visiting the area.
This trip was incredible, marking my second experience in nine years. We were lucky enough to encounter numerous large pods of orcas. When the captain decided to take a slight detour, we had no idea how special it would turn out to be. It was truly worth both the time and the cost.
This was an incredible experience that you shouldn't overlook. The boat ride comes with lunch and offers sightings of orcas, humpback whales, sea lions, seals, and a variety of bird species.
The guides prioritized safety and did an excellent job of accommodating everyone, ensuring that the trek was enjoyable for all participants. Nate was particularly impressive throughout the experience.
The staff were excellent and had great knowledge of the best locations. We spotted bald eagles, harbor seals, a whale, stellar sea lions, puffins, and enjoyed stunning views. The hot lunch and chocolate cookies were also very tasty.
The lunch consisted of a dry burrito and stale chips, with drinks priced at $5 for a soda. The commentary continued throughout, and the staff were somewhat rude while serving drinks. Overall, it was just average.
Towards the conclusion of whale viewing season, we were among the first boats to encounter whales that day, thanks to our Captain who made an extra effort to locate them. Along the journey, we also enjoyed stunning coves, puffins, seals, otters, jellyfish, and a variety of other bird species.
This was an incredible experience with stunning scenery. The boat was tidy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We had the fortune of spotting orca whales, along with sea lions and sea otters. Lunch was provided, and they even baked fresh cookies at the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour.
The experience far surpassed what we expected. The crew put in tremendous effort to ensure we had an amazing time and even helped us spot a large pod of Orcas. The lunch was also enjoyable. We were thrilled to see puffins, coastal mountain goats, sea lions, otters, and more. We highly recommend this to anyone!
The tour was reasonably organized, but the boarding line was quite lengthy and there was a lack of clear signage. It's advisable to take seasickness medicine prior to boarding. I did take some but still felt unwell when the operator stopped the engines to look for marine life. We spotted a few whales, jellyfish, and seals. I'm pleased I booked here, as it was more affordable compared to on-site prices.
