I was initially unsure about committing to the 7.5-hour cruise, but it exceeded my expectations! Time flew as we encountered diverse marine and bird life, along with stunning glaciers. The captain and crew were exceptional, providing delightful information while showing great respect for the wildlife. I highly recommend this experience!
The wildlife tour was fantastic, despite the challenging weather. The team did their best to take us to various spots for wildlife sightings. We were fortunate to see whales, puffins, sea lions, and kittywakes. Due to rough seas, the full-day tour was adjusted, and they promptly refunded part of our payment, only charging us for the half-day experience. We received the credit even before returning to the dock, which was impressive. This is a well-managed and staffed company, and I strongly recommend them for tours in the area.
This was an incredible journey. We began our harbor departure with sightings of playful otters and bald eagles. Shortly after, we encountered a small pod of orcas and a few humpback whales within the first 90 minutes. The crew was knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful. When it was time for sandwiches, they were delicious and satisfying. Overall, the day passed by way too quickly.
My adult son and I took a 7.5-hour cruise on September 8, 2025, and it was an outstanding experience. We encountered sea lions, eagles, orcas, otters, puffins, seals, and what I think were three glaciers. The crew was friendly and attentive, providing binoculars since most wildlife was a bit far from the boat, and they helped us spot both animals and glaciers. We even witnessed glacier calving. The lunch was excellent, and there were snacks and drinks available throughout the trip.
The tour was not entirely stress-free, yet the scenery was incredible. We navigated through choppy waters on a smaller boat, which made for a bumpy ride. A few passengers experienced mild seasickness, but the wildlife and stunning views made it worthwhile. We encountered otters, eagles, puffins, sea lions, seals, and whales among others. The sights of glaciers and waterfalls were breathtaking.
This tour was the standout experience of our journey. We encountered numerous humpback whales, stellar sea lions, sea otters, harbor seals, mountain goats, black bears, horned and tufted puffins, common murres, cormorants, and even a bald eagle among others. Visiting the Holgate glacier was truly awe-inspiring. The staff were excellent—kind, helpful, and very attentive. The captain demonstrated impressive knowledge, clarity, and prioritization of safety.
This experience was absolutely incredible. The captain, Laura, and the crew were exceptionally friendly. The boat was clean and comfortable, creating a fantastic atmosphere. They truly deserve more than a perfect rating. I highly recommend this crew and Moor; this was top-notch. Well done to the entire team.
This was an excellent trip to experience the glaciers and wildlife up close. The captain adjusted the route to find the best weather and minimize wave action.
This was an amazing experience sailing through Resurrection Bay. We spotted whales, orcas, eagles, puffins, seals, and even saw glaciers calving. The lunch was tasty as well. This cruise was definitely a highlight of our month in Alaska.
The experience was fantastic. The crew displayed a high level of professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
