4Three-day, full-board package — visit orangutans, sun bears, and explore the Kinabatangan River with accommodation at Bilit Adventure Lodge.
“The experience was thrilling, and we were fortunate enough to spot the Big Five. Our guide, Akmal, was friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable. The Bilit Adventure Lodge offered cleanliness and comfort, with attentive staff and excellent food. We highly recommend this tour.”— jwell825
5Two days exploring Sandakan — visit Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, enjoy a Kinabatangan river cruise, with private transfers and meals included.
“I arranged my trip through Asia Green Travel with no complications. I stayed in a mixed dorm with air conditioning at Borneo Natural Sukau Biiit Resort. The cost was RM371, which included all meals, four river cruises, two night walks, and one day jungle walk, along with transfers to and from the airport or Sandakan town. I noticed that the river cruises on the first two days visit different locations, so it's beneficial to be with the same group to experience the various routes; this isn't explicitly mentioned, so stay aware. I recommend bringing small binoculars or renting one, as well as rubber boots, which are also available for rent. Make sure to pack a good mosquito repellent (Deet doesn't work, by the way) for the jungle walks, and a flashlight for the night excursions. It's cool at sunrise, so a light jacket or windbreaker is a good idea to have on hand.”— JTdxbSin
6Two days of wildlife watching on the Kinabatangan River, including scenic boat cruises and optional night walks from Sandakan.
“It was a delightful journey overall, with great transfers and accommodation. I managed to see 4 of the Borneo 5, though I missed the Rhinoceros Hornbill. Unfortunately, the night walk was not an option because dwarf elephants were too nearby.”— DiAn_D
7Two days exploring Kinabatangan's rainforest by river cruise — spot proboscis monkeys and pygmy elephants, with accommodation included.
“Our experience was fantastic; we spotted 4 of the 5 animals. We spent 1 night and 2 days immersed in the jungle, and being so close to nature was truly wonderful.”— Izzy_B
