I opted for a private car and utilized the apps for explanations, which worked really well and allowed us to visit multiple places in a short time. Unfortunately, some locations were closed or had strict entry and photography regulations. Overall, it was an incredible experience.
The app for Pintours was terrible. I lost my money due to misleading advertisements. None of the corporate visitor centers recognized the tour.
I gained a lot of knowledge about the origins of Silicon Valley. It’s a fantastic tour that takes you to various tech campuses and offers plenty of great photo opportunities.
This private luxury tour is the perfect way to explore the iconic Silicon Valley. We visited renowned companies such as Google, Apple, and Facebook. My children gained valuable insights and feel motivated to pursue careers in technology.
I had a fantastic time on this tour with my children! During our brief stay in Silicon Valley, they picked us up from the hotel and took us to the most interesting spots. The Pintours app also allows for a deeper exploration of each location.
This experience felt more like using an app on my phone rather than an actual guided tour, complete with repetitive background music. We paid $600 for three people to have a driver who was friendly but essentially just transported us, without offering any narration. We had to rely on the app for information while he drove us around. The tour exceeded two hours, and we missed two scheduled stops because we didn’t stop at every location. It had potential to be a fantastic tour, but the execution was lacking. A more dedicated tour company should take over this idea.
The tour relied on a Pintour app, but the GPS directions were consistently inaccurate. The narration lacked information, and the spoken directions often did not match what appeared on the screen. Overall, it was a frustrating experience in Silicon Valley, but I still managed to enjoy the tour.
Spending $50 for this experience was a huge mistake. I drove around and saw very little, except for a Google shop in Shoreline. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, not even to my worst enemy.
It was a very disappointing and upsetting experience. There was no trip, no guide, and no one to talk to. We waited for the driver who never arrived. This was not enjoyable while on holiday.
The audio self-guided tour was difficult to navigate. We struggled to keep up with the narration since the prompts were not clear or intuitive.
