We took the tour of Olympic National Park as a final family trip before our son goes to college, and it turned out to be incredibly memorable, exceeding all our expectations. The pickup was punctual, and the journey to the park was smooth. The scenery was stunning at every turn, creating endless photo opportunities. Our guides, Marty and his teammate Max, were exceptional—kind, considerate, and incredibly knowledgeable. Marty’s commentary on the region's history, Indigenous tribes, and the personalities of the cities en route was fantastic. Once we reached the park, Marty’s expertise about the lakes, forests, beaches, and varied wildlife, including a bald eagle, was impressive. We learned a lot and hiked to beautiful spots we had only seen in postcards. They provided ample snacks, drinks, a delicious lunch, and made restroom stops as needed. The experience was worth every minute and dollar spent, creating lasting memories for our family, for which we are truly thankful.

We snowshoed in Hurricane Ridge and were somewhat prepared for the snow, but Matthew provided everything we needed. We also visited Lake Crescent and hiked in the rainforest. The catered lunch was outstanding and a pleasant surprise. Although it was a long day, it was well worth it to explore Olympic National Park. I highly recommend this tour and felt fortunate to have Matthew as our guide.

Don't let distance or weather deter you from booking, as you'll be well taken care of. Marty, our guide, was exceptional. His friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable demeanor felt like having a backstage pass to the nature of the northwest. It was almost as if he had the ability to command the weather, as the rain cleared just in time for a beautiful sunny day with a rainbow. Overall, I plan to book again and explore more of what Evergreen Escapes offers. I can't wait to return to Seattle this summer; if the winter experience was so incredible, I'm excited to see what summer brings.

We explored significant areas of Olympic National Park. While Hurricane Ridge was breathtaking, traversing the trails of the old growth forest felt like stepping into another world. I highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to discover the park.
