This tour is a must-do in Belize! Despite the weather not cooperating, the guides ensured we had a fantastic time. We encountered many fish species, including sharks, enjoyed swimming in the stunning sea, and relished a delicious lunch. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and shared much more information than I anticipated.
The snorkelling tour exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it, as the guides were friendly and knowledgeable about the reef and fish. We did miss seeing turtles, though. Be prepared for a bumpy boat ride, and make sure to bring sunscreen since there are three different snorkelling sessions where reapplying is essential.
We spent three days with Splash Diving and would absolutely go back. Our grandson completed his AOW and nitrox certifications, while the whole family enjoyed amazing reef views. Safety was a top concern, and it was truly a pleasure to interact with the boat and booking teams. Their communication was outstanding. Thank you, Splash!
The pickup was an hour late, and the boat felt overcapacity with people. However, the guide was excellent once we got in the water, where we saw plenty of fish, sharks, stingrays, and a turtle. The lunch provided was disappointing, so it's best to bring your own food. Despite these issues, Belize's beauty and the friendliness of its people were highlights.
Our tour yesterday was truly unforgettable. The island felt surreal, and the water was stunning. Moses, our guide, shared fascinating stories about the islands we sailed by and was very knowledgeable about the fish and coral. After lunch, we spotted dolphins from the shore, so we jumped into the boat to get a closer look. Moses even used my phone to capture a video of them – it was incredible. We then visited a spot where fishermen clean their catch and swam with sea turtles, rays, and nurse sharks. My 9-year-old daughter was initially hesitant, but Moses accompanied her in the water, ensuring she felt comfortable and had a great experience. I was deeply touched by the care he showed her.
Fantastic and professional team who genuinely care. They are always available to offer guidance and advice. The locations visited are stunning, and the quality of materials is excellent. A knowledgeable guide shares insights on the flora and fauna while another ensures everyone's safety. The captain creates an unforgettable experience on the water. The only minor issue is that the meal is a bit light, so it's a good idea to bring an extra snack, as the physical activity can increase your appetite.
This experience was the highlight of my week. Splash and the entire team were extremely professional and attentive. They arranged hotel pickup, making everything run smoothly. Our trip featured snorkeling around the island, followed by a delicious homemade lunch and more snorkeling at the reef. On the return, we visited a well-known spot for turtles, stingrays, and nurse sharks. Erin's knowledge and engagement were impressive. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience; it was fantastic, and you will not be disappointed.
We participated in three tours with Splash during our stay in Placencia (2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 10), and each one was wonderful. Our first outing was snorkeling at Laughing Bird Caye with Kiran and Sigourney, who were excellent. They provided safety equipment and were great with the kids, ensuring we all had a fantastic experience. Next, we went on the Monkey River tour with Ian as our guide. He was an outstanding host, and we encountered many fascinating sights. Ian kept both adults and children engaged with his interesting commentary. For our final trip, we snorkeled at Silk Cayes, which was definitely the highlight. Although it took about an hour by boat to reach, the kids enjoyed the ride, and it was well worth the wait. This time, Karzon Santos guided us, and he was also fantastic. Safety remained a priority with vests for the kids, and we saw numerous amazing things while Karzon shared his enthusiasm and insights about Belize's nature. Ian joined us with some divers (from the Monkey River tour) and educated the kids about Lion Fish, showing them the ones he had caught. It was a superb mix of enjoyment and learning. Overall, we had a memorable experience with Splash and wholeheartedly recommend them. They are reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly. A special mention goes to Kendrick at the main office, whose enthusiasm and warmth made every interaction a pleasure.
What a stunning experience! My daughter and I had an amazing time at Silk Caye with the Splash Dive team snorkeling. We saw an abundance of beautiful coral and fish. At our final spot, we hoped to see a sea turtle, sharks, and an Eagle Ray, and we were fortunate enough to encounter all three just moments after entering the water. The staff at Splash Dive were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. This experience will remain unforgettable for us. Thank you!
We had a truly memorable experience at Silk Caye. While my wife snorkeled, I dived, and we enjoyed a lovely time together on the boat and at the island during lunch. We encountered all the wildlife we could have wished for, and Oliver was an excellent dive master.
