The staff provided excellent assistance in getting our family ready for the day. This was the most organized dive shop I have experienced. The guides in the water, Brian and Carson, had remarkable knowledge of the fish and sea life, highlighting creatures I would have missed on my own. The reef was the best I’ve ever snorkeled around. I would do this again without hesitation if we return to Palencia.
The snorkeling excursion arranged by our resort was outstanding. From the start, the staff were warm and inviting. Although we intended to go to Silke Caye, rough waters led us to Laughing Bird instead. The crew was very knowledgeable, supportive, and enjoyable to be around. Our guide Eric shared a wealth of information about the marine life and the caye; we gained so much from the experience. I strongly recommend booking a trip with them, as they really make you feel like part of their family.
The Splash Dive Center provided an excellent experience. The staff clearly loved their work and aimed to ensure we had a fantastic time. We encountered numerous amazing fish and sea life, and the food on this tour was the best we had throughout our trip.
This snorkeling spot is truly paradise. Sig, Kendrick, Captain John, and Ciran ensured our safety throughout the trip. I was quite nervous about being in the water, but Sig and Kendrick helped me feel secure and in control. I appreciate the whole Splash team.
We had an extraordinary time on our tour with Splash today. Our guides, Erin, Sigourney, and Carson, went above and beyond to ensure a top-notch experience. They took excellent care of us, helping us see a variety of marine life, including nurse sharks, stingrays, spiny lobsters, and a sizable red snapper. Laughing Bird Caye is a stunning island with incredibly soft sand, and it’s clear the Belizean community works hard to preserve its beauty. The only drawback was the bumpy boat ride, which was rough due to windy conditions, something to consider for those sensitive to choppy waters.
Our snorkeling adventure at Silk Caye was stunning and truly a memorable experience. Witnessing the vibrant coral, colorful fish, and swimming alongside nurse sharks felt extraordinary and unique. Carzon, our guide, was exceptional throughout the journey. He was patient, kind, and attentive all the way. When I felt a bit nauseous from the salt water, he quickly helped me, ensuring I felt safe and comfortable. His genuine care made a significant difference and allowed us to fully appreciate the experience. This moment was one of the highlights of our Belize trip, and we are thankful for such a beautiful, well-led excursion. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting.

Our experience at Laughing Bird Caye was nothing short of magical. Deuce, our guide, impressed us with his extensive knowledge and remarkable patience. I was with my 8-year-old son, 13-year-old daughter, and 80-year-old mother. We encountered a wealth of beautiful wildlife. My mother, who hadn’t snorkeled for years due to a past lung surgery, was initially concerned about her ability to participate. Deuce’s kindness and understanding meant so much to our family. We are grateful for such a wonderful day and cherish the incredible memories made.
This snorkeling trip to Laughing Bird Caye was the best I've experienced. The island was stunning, just as you'd imagine a remote Caribbean location to be. The Splash Team, especially Duce and Kurzon, were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The barbecue meal was excellent, scoring a perfect 10/10. Birdwatchers will love the pelicans and laughing gulls for great photo opportunities. I'm also grateful to Sharon for making the booking process easy. Keep up the fantastic work!
Booking solo adventures in Belize during April and May can be tough due to two-person minimums, so I was delighted to find Splash, which accommodates solo travelers. From beginning to end, their operations were top-notch with a friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive team. The food was also excellent, and we were very well cared for.
