  Wonderful all family members engaged beach/jungles/coral reefs - you can't do it all

  We had an excellent experience exploring numerous islands, beaches, and wildlife. The guide had impressive local insights about the jungle's evolution, including the monkeys, manatees, and the many islands—there are hundreds to discover!

  We participated in an excursion arranged by our resort. Our guide had great knowledge about the various species we encountered, including howler monkeys. Be sure to apply bug spray, and consider using coconut oil beforehand as you will be trekking through the jungle.

  Such a fun time and so much wildlife

  This trip was incredible! We had a fantastic time seeing manatees, iguanas, alligators, birds, howler monkeys, and even land crabs. Don't miss the chance to explore the village and shop for their handmade products afterwards.

  Rainforest Adventure

  Our day in the rainforest was authentic, as we encountered heavy rain for most of the time. Despite the weather, we spotted several howler monkeys, crocodiles, and manatees. Overall, it was an enjoyable day, and the lunch at Monkey River Village was quite good.

  Great tour, fun boat ride, delicious lunch in Monkey River Village, saw some cool native animals, & howler monkeys.

  The guide was very knowledgeable, and the boat ride was enjoyable along with the rainforest hike. We saw some interesting native wildlife. I would definitely do this again and would strongly recommend it.

  This was an excellent trip. Terry, who grew up in Monkey River, has a keen eye for spotting wildlife. We were able to see all the animals while respecting nature. I highly recommend booking this tour.

  Best tour!!! A must do while in Placencia!

  This was undoubtedly one of the finest tours we have ever experienced. Our local guide took us to the best places to view wildlife. When he reached into a hole and pulled out a large crab, I realized we were in for a unique adventure. We encountered iguanas, a mother and baby manatee, and numerous monkeys, along with various fascinating birds. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch and picked up a few souvenirs. It was an exceptional tour led by Jeremy that we will cherish forever.

  Great day on the river

  We had a wonderful day on the river, and our guide Terry was fantastic at providing information and spotting numerous animals for us. The food was also enjoyable.

  Disappointing Jungle Adventure

  The experience was quite disorganized from the beginning, with little guidance on where to go or what activities were planned. We were even discouraged from using the restroom due to delays. The tour guide was not engaging, merely pointing out a few animals, such as herons, a manatee, and a crocodile; at least we heard howler monkeys. Although the food was excellent, the guide failed to provide proper organization or direction. The shopping portion was decent, and while I'm not much into shopping while on vacation, others seemed to enjoy it. However, the time was not managed well, resulting in a return to the resort much later than planned. For those seeking an interactive wildlife experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere; this tour is more appropriate for young children or older adults.
