This half-day wine tour is crafted specifically for cruise ship passengers visiting Marlborough. Departing around 9:30 AM, the timing is flexible to coordinate with your ship's schedule. Expect visits to 4 or 5 renowned wineries, each showcasing the best of the region’s wine production.
The experience includes an informative walk through the vineyards and access to a working winery where you can take memorable behind-the-scenes photos. Please note that lunch is not included; it can be purchased at the vineyard restaurant. The tour accommodates a maximum of 10 participants, ensuring an intimate experience tailored to your group's needs.

This tour was fantastic. Cameron shared a wealth of information about grape cultivation as we traveled through the vineyards. We toured one winery and learned about the vats and barrels involved in the winemaking process. The tastings were a highlight, featuring a variety of interesting options, making it a valuable learning experience. We visited four wineries and enjoyed a delightful lunch at one. The scenery in the area was stunning, adding to the overall experience. It became one of our favorite days in New Zealand.
An amazing day spent with Cam, who made it a wonderful way to explore the stunning Marlborough region, especially for those short on time. Cam was friendly, humorous, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He also went out of his way to accommodate a non-drinker in our group and arranged for us to be picked up at the cruise ship port. The group size was perfect for getting to know each other, and we enjoyed visiting a great mix of wineries.
I had an incredible day. It was refreshing to escape after lockdown, and Cam truly made the tour special. His extensive wine knowledge and passion made the experience enjoyable and engaging. Cam provided an excellent experience. He tailored the trip according to our preferences and showed us a variety of wineries. His knowledge of the wine industry and winemaking was impressive, and we were treated like VIP guests at the wineries thanks to his connections with the staff.
The trip was enjoyable with our guide as we visited three wineries and a chocolate shop. While everything was satisfactory for a standard wine tasting, it was marketed as a gourmet tour with an actual winemaker and behind-the-scenes access. Given that, I found it to be overpriced for what it offered. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but not worth the cost.
My wife and I have had the chance to travel on cruise ships, sometimes against our wishes due to family preferences. However, this excursion was possibly the most enjoyable experience we’ve had. We booked independently instead of through the cruise line, which was a great decision. Cam, our host, was exceptional and truly delightful to spend time with. The wines were wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
