Reviews
Our guide, Mike, brought a lot of energy to the tour and motivated our group to enjoy ourselves. We began as ten strangers and ended up as friends by the day's conclusion. The wine was delightful, and everything about the day was just right.
I would not suggest opting for the tour that includes tasting fees, as it turned out to be a mistake for us. The other couples in our group had not prepaid for their tasting fees and learned that they were not charged at one of the wineries. Meanwhile, we ended up paying fees and buying wine there as well. Another winery also had unclear records regarding package purchases, and the staff member neglected to bring us water, simply directing us to the water cooler to help ourselves. When I reached out to Grapeline Wine Tours via email, they chose to call me back while I was at work, leaving a message stating they were charged for the other couple's tasting fees. If there was an error on the winery's part, they should absorb the cost, so I doubt that claim. They offered a refund of $20 per person if we believed we deserved to be compensated, which felt insufficient, but I agreed. However, it has been over a week, and I have not received any follow-up. Clearly, they are uninterested in addressing my concerns. This isn't our first winery tour experience, and frankly, Grapeline Wine Tours did not meet expectations. It's better to pay for your own tasting fees or consider another company.
This was a great tour, and I would definitely book with this company again. Jeff was an excellent guide; I felt secure with him driving, and he provided insightful information throughout the journey.
We had a fantastic day with perfect weather. Our guide Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining, plus a great driver. The three wineries we visited were excellent, and the included lunch was both fresh and tasty. The views were beautiful and the wines were outstanding. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Paso Robles.
The wine tour was both informative and enjoyable, creating a vibrant atmosphere. My wife and I really had a wonderful experience and are excited about participating again in the future.
We were very pleased with our decision to join this small group of around 12 people. The vineyards were beautiful, the service was excellent, and the lunch was delicious.
The experience was enjoyable due to the small group size. The countryside was stunning, and the wineries were welcoming, with some offering generous tastings.
We had a wonderful and relaxing experience with our wine tasting friends and the new ones we met during the tour. Jeff was an excellent driver and provided a lot of insight about the area and its wineries.
We toured a small, a medium, and a large winery, enjoying a delightful selection of wines. Having prepaid for the tasting fees made for a relaxed experience, although we found that our wine purchases could not be used toward discounts on those fees.
Planning a lively outing in Paso Robles was effortless. Our guide and driver, Rod, provided great insights and looked after us well. We explored three fantastic boutique wineries that we wouldn't have discovered otherwise. The lunch was enjoyable as well. Altogether, it was a really fun day!
