Every guest, regardless of their daily activities and visits, must eat. What they will experience in this cooking class is a unique opportunity to watch and participate in the preparation of Macedonian traditional food. More specifically, we are oriented towards local food from our region. In this cooking class we will focus on one or two dough dishes that have been prepared since a long time ago, according to an old recipe. The exclusivity is that the guest will learn how to prepare them and cannot order them anywhere, in any restaurant, to eat them. Here the guest will participate in all stages of preparation and will enjoy the taste of traditional local food, ecologically treated and grown with a lot of love. Everything they will eat is locally produced, from their own garden and farm, or picked from the mountain or borrowed from a local farmer. This is a unique opportunity to experience Macedonia through participating in the preparation of its food.
Wine tasting experience at our winery and our vineyard. Our vineyard is surrounded by beautiful nature and a spectacular view of Ohrid Lake. You are welcome to our winery for a wine-tasting experience, traditional Macedonian unique food, and a beautiful and peaceful natural atmosphere.
After a comfortable pickup, your experience begins at the entrance of Galicica National Park, one of the region’s most scenic areas. The journey continues through the picturesque village of Velestovo, along forest paths, rocky terrain, and wide-open landscapes with mountain pastures and a tranquil natural lake. Along the way, you’ll stop at panoramic viewpoints offering breathtaking views of Lake Ohrid, the city below, and Lake Prespa. On warm days, you may even spot the Albanian mountains rising through a soft mist—perfect for unforgettable photos. Midway through the tour, enjoy a traditional local lunch in the heart of the mountains, tasting authentic regional products in a peaceful natural setting. Throughout the experience, your knowledgeable guide will share insights into the park’s landscape, wildlife, and natural features. At the end of the tour, you’ll be comfortably transferred back—taking with you lasting memories and IG- and FB-worthy photos.
Discover Mavrovo National Park, the largest in the Balkans, where bears and lynxes roam freely amid dramatic peaks, clear lakes, deep canyons, and dense forests. Shepherds have long brought their flocks here to escape the summer heat, and you may spot them along the way. High in the mountains, take scenic walks across Mavrovo National Park’s open plateaus, if lucky, meet local shepherds, and all their animals. Experience nature in its purest form. On the way back, you can stop for lunch at the traditional House of the Miyaks (not included) before visiting Bigorski Monastery, the largest in Macedonia. This medieval complex remains an active spiritual center, home to over 30 monks devoted entirely to faith and prayer. This day is all about nature and culture, with scenic walks and astonishing cultural landmarks and plenty of photo stops, where you can make picture to share on social media. During the tour, our guide will explain about all the particularities of the tour.
The sightseeing transfers are pleasant, touring drives that give you the opportunity of exploring and visiting beautiful sites in Macedonia that otherwise would have been missed out. Just after departing from the city of Ohrid, you will pass through the second biggest town on Ohrid Lake, Struga. The drives continues along Debar and Globocica Lakes, as well as along one of the purest river in Macedonia, Radika. From here we are heading to the picturesque village of Jance where you have an option for a stop and a tasty lunch at a local restaurant. Then we will visit St. Jovan Bigorski Monastery with its exceptional wooden iconostasis, before we continue for a drive through the National Park Mavrovo.
Warm and welcoming wine experience in the heart of nature and the calmness of the St. Cosmas and Damian Monastery. We invite you to visit our beautiful winery and savor some of the best wines from estate’s portfolio, paired with local products from Macedonia’s fields. During the wine tasting, the guide will explain the traditional philosophy and criteria behind the making of our vintages. A well explained visit at the monastery of St. Cosmas and Damian is also included in the trip, along with a walk around the winery and cellar. Organized transfer from your accommodation to the winery and back is included in the tour price.
