Expecting it to be too costly, I was pleasantly surprised when Eric quickly responded with a plan to sail to the Thimble Islands, allowing us to stay on his lovely boat overnight. We anchored in a tranquil cove at dusk, and Eric showed us what we needed to know before he left in a dinghy to meet friends. We really enjoyed his company, but it was thrilling to have the boat to ourselves for the night. Dining under the stars, listening to music, watching the sunrise, and swimming in the cove the next morning felt like pure bliss.
