This was the best tour our family experienced in Natal, and it was impeccably executed by the skilled buggy driver.
Even though we started the tour in the rain, the sun eventually came out, giving us a fantastic day. The buggy driver was extremely attentive, making this an unforgettable experience.
We had an amazing time on our buggy tour in Natal, exploring both the north and south coasts of Rio Grande do Norte. The itineraries featured stunning scenery and thrilling moments. Our tour guide was incredibly attentive and responsible. I highly recommend this experience.
We arranged the buggy tour only 12 hours prior to arriving in Natal, and everything went smoothly. We were promptly picked up at the port. The tour was fantastic with numerous wonderful stops, and our driver was enthusiastic, ensuring we had a safe and dependable nearly six-hour experience.
We had a buggy tour with Mr. Luís, featuring buggies from 1996 and 2013, for R$450.00 each, starting at our hotel in Ponta Negra. While the tour promised to visit 10 beaches, we only stopped for swimming once during lunch. The first stop at Genipabu lagoon offered potential activities like a dromedary ride at R$150.00, but we quickly moved on to appreciate the scenery. Unfortunately, we found Genipabu marred by chaotic urban development, with homes encroaching on the dunes and noticeable issues like open sewage. It's disappointing since the area boasts stunning natural beauty, but swimming at Genipabu beach is not advisable. We chose to swim where the Pratagi River meets the ocean, where a lagoon had formed. This spot was excellent for swimming and had some makeshift stalls with tasty snacks and cold drinks, accessible only by buggy. Although we could have stopped at Pitangui lagoon, our driver advised against it due to unsuitable swimming conditions and a R$25.00 charge to swim in a private area that felt out of place. For lunch, we had two choices: a buffet or an à la carte menu. We went with the buffet for R$90.00 per person, but our experience was disappointing as the food appeared to be reheated. Despite this, I still paid for my mother and wife, who opted not to eat. Since the tide rises quickly, we had to leave the beach by 2 PM to avoid having to take the highway back.
Be cautious! Upon arriving at the beach near the Marisol hotel, an individual named "Junior" approached us offering a Buggy ride along the North coast and Genipabu dunes. However, he was merely an intermediary who arranged the tour with someone else. Ultimately, we could only visit the dunes for the sunset due to high tide, and the experience was disappointing. Watch out for these opportunists who won’t take responsibility for any issues. Always get the tour itinerary in writing or audio for your protection. Stay away from that person!
We had an incredible time during our walk with Mauricio on December 24. Our baby enjoyed the boggie ride immensely, and we shared in the excitement as well.
The level of attention our guide provided truly set this experience apart, making it emotional and unforgettable. Carlinhos Cobra, an amazing buggy driver, captured photos and videos that helped us preserve this unique moment. He also picked us up from the hotel and was extremely attentive. Before considering any tourism agency, reach out to him at +55 84 8847-1555; you won't regret it. Check out his Instagram @carlinhoscobrabugueiro. This tour covers all the dunes that many buggies do not.
The service provided by Sandra and the team was outstanding as they guided us through the traditional tour and the mobile dunes. It was definitely worth it.
The walk was excellent. We utilized the buggy service through Natal Vans, and our driver was Pericles, known as Judgment. He was very helpful, attentive, and has over 30 years of experience. His buggy was exceptionally comfortable and stood out from the rest. It was definitely worth it.
