1I'm convinced that Tokyo is one of the most incredible cities in the world. It's known for its flashier side, but one part that is rarely seen is the quiet backstreets, and as a photographer, these are the places that make the best memories. The route avoids landmarks and concentrates on backstreets, residential zones, while sharing the history of the area. Three elements make this distinct: 1. The Quiet areas of Tokyo The route stays on foot from Inokashira Park into the surrounding neighborhoods. No trains, no jumping between districts, no crowds. 2. You are part of the story Participants are photographed naturally during the walk. These are candid, documentary-style images of you moving through Tokyo, observing, photographing, existing in the city. You leave with professional images of yourself that don’t look staged or touristic. This tour is for travelers who want to understand Tokyo by walking through it, and absorbing it through the relaxed side of the city.

The unique atmosphere blends the tranquility of nature with the charm of playful feline companions—making it one of Tokyo’s most magical cat café experiences.
3Experience Hanami at Inokashira Park, Kichijoji. Inokashira Park is a beloved hanami spot in Tokyo and is recognized as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing locations. 5Discover the spiritual heart of old Tokyo on this intimate private walk through Jindaiji Temple and its surrounding forest. Along the way, Rei will share the foundations of Japanese Buddhism and the temple's centuries-long history — bringing the stones, rituals, and landscape to life with context rarely offered to visitors. At Jindaiji, you will enter the main hall and receive an oharai purification ritual performed by the temple's monks — a sacred ceremony using ritual fire that has been preserved here for centuries. An ofuda protective charm is yours to keep. We will then enjoy handmade soba noodles at a local restaurant, with stories of the land and its food culture woven into the meal. To close, we find a quiet bench in the forest near the temple, where Chie's handmade nerikiri and freshly prepared matcha tea await — a moment of stillness to end the day.
