The tour was very informative, allowing us to set our own pace and take breaks whenever we desired. There was plenty of history to explore throughout the journey.
The trip itself was fantastic; however, it was misleading that purchasing the tour did not include entrance tickets, which had to be bought separately at the Navajo park. It felt somewhat like a waste of money since we still had to pay for the tickets, totaling $24 for three. Thus, I question the value of buying it here. Despite this, I still highly recommend the overall experience to anyone looking to see one of the most remarkable places on earth.
Provided us with some insights about the area and its formations. It would have been great to have more historical context.
User-friendly and full of information. It was great to have context about the sights. I highly recommend this experience.
This was a delightful and visually stunning experience. The guide provided informative insights about the area’s monuments, history, and its people, making the tour effortless. It’s definitely a worthwhile experience, so take your time to appreciate the beautiful journey.
The audio guide was very simple to use, allowing for easy pauses, and it tracked my location accurately while I explored. It would have been nice to include some authentic Navajo music as well. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience.
It was a fantastic day exploring Monument Valley. The audio guide for the self-driving tour provided excellent insights into the area and Navajo history, adjusting to our location along the 17-mile route with clear directions. We enjoyed the freedom to set our own pace and stop for pictures as desired. I highly recommend this experience, but ensure you have a high-clearance vehicle, as the rough roads may not be suitable for all cars, per Navajo park regulations. The scenery is stunning and definitely worth the trip.
Connecting to Apple CarPlay made it easy for everyone in the car to enjoy the audio and view the pictures on the screen. The app was user-friendly, and I look forward to using it for other locations if it's offered.
It was extremely user-friendly and I highly recommend it. Simply download the app, and once you arrive at your destination, the explanations function perfectly even without an internet connection.
There needs to be clearer guidance about where to begin the tour. The instructions should specify: First, go to the Monument Valley entrance booth to pay $10 per person for entry and $15 per vehicle for the park trail, which must be paid with a credit card. Next, you’ll go through another checkpoint to show your receipt. After that, pull over to the side to start the downloaded audio tour. Providing these details could help avoid confusion for future visitors. If I had received this information, I would have rated it higher, as the audio tour itself was outstanding. Additionally, the Navajo individuals in the park did not appear to care about the audio tour voucher.
