John proved to be an outstanding guide. His friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of Navajo culture impressed us. At one stop, he played fantastic music, enhancing the experience. The stories he shared, tied to our sights, were captivating, and I appreciated his use of the Navajo language. It was a genuinely enlightening and enjoyable experience.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Dineh Bekeyah Tours. Booking directly with the operator was straightforward, and the communication regarding meeting details and timing was clear. Our guide, Joseph "Joe" Nelson, was exceptional. He is among the best guides we have encountered in our years of traveling both in the U.S. and abroad. Joe was knowledgeable, engaging, and communicated effectively. He truly represented the tour company and the Navajo Nation well. We left with a richer appreciation and understanding of the culture and the people connected to this beautiful area.
Joseph was an incredible tour guide. I appreciated how he blended history with humor, and he was knowledgeable about all the great camera tricks. I'm eager to return.
The tour was outstanding, led by a guide who was both knowledgeable and experienced. Joseph did an excellent job. My family, visiting from out of state, said the Monument Valley tour was the highlight of their Arizona vacation.
This was undoubtedly one of the finest tours I've experienced. Our guide, Ty, was exceptional as he navigated us through the Monument Valley backcountry, sharing both history and personal insights that added great depth to the experience. He knows all the best places for photos and was always eager to take pictures and respond to our queries. His performance under a domed arch was a standout moment of our Southwest journey. Thank you, Ty!
Our guide was incredible, and I can’t picture touring Monument Valley without one. She was very accommodating in helping us take photos.
The views were breathtaking, and the guides were very knowledgeable. They assisted with setting up phones and took plenty of photos throughout the experience.
It was just the three of us friends, and we requested John to turn off the loudspeaker early on so we could soak in the tranquility and beauty of the valley. This made the experience feel more intimate and meaningful. John even brought out his flute and played in an alcove. It was a fantastic experience, especially for my European friends on the trip.
The meeting point was unclear, leading us to the visitors center on Hwy 163 instead of the actual location at The View hotel parking lot. Our guide, Joe, was very patient as we arrived a bit late due to this mix-up. The tour is absolutely worthwhile, and I suggest opting for the 2.5 backcountry experience since the scenic drive doesn’t provide the same views or historical insights that Joe shared. He was excellent and very knowledgeable. I would certainly return and recommend this tour company.
The tour was a standout experience during our visit to the region. Our guide, Joseph, was quite engaging, sharing the history of the land while providing us with breathtaking views of the valley and rock formations.
