We truly enjoyed our 1.5-hour Jeep tour of Monument Valley with our young kids. It was the perfect way to appreciate the stunning scenery when we were short on time. The tour was very well-structured, covering all the major landmarks like the Mittens, Totem Pole, and John Ford's Point, while giving us ample opportunity to soak in the views. Our guide was fantastic with the children, sharing intriguing stories about Navajo culture and the valley's geology in an engaging manner. The open-air Jeep offered spectacular panoramic views and excellent photo chances. For families or anyone seeking a brief yet enriching experience, this tour showcases all the highlights of Monument Valley in a wonderfully concise adventure. Our children are still excitedly recalling their “Jeep ride through the mountains” weeks later. This is a definite must-do.
There was an hour time difference between the states, and even though I checked the time beforehand due to my anxiety, I missed out on over an hour of the experience. Please be cautious if you decide to join.
The experience was fantastic. Our guide was very friendly, and we were able to explore areas that cars can't access without any concerns about the vehicle.
I had a fantastic experience with an excellent driver. The jeep ride was engaging and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour.
The drive was disappointing. Our guide provided very little information, only naming a few monoliths. While the scenery was beautiful, we would have appreciated more insights. I cannot recommend this tour.
The views were breathtaking, and our guide, Byron, was incredibly knowledgeable. He assisted us in capturing fantastic photos. My partner and I are very grateful for this experience.
Aaron provided an excellent tour, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the area. He patiently addressed all my inquiries, making the experience far richer than merely driving the 17-mile road without context. He also highlighted some great photo opportunities that I wouldn't have found on my own. His warm and relatable demeanor made the tour even better. I highly recommend this experience.
Aaron was an excellent guide, sharing extensive knowledge about Navajo culture and the history of the area. Traveling in the open jeep was much more enjoyable than navigating in our car, and it allowed us to access spots our SUV couldn't reach. Thank you!
The guide was pleasant, but the speaker system failed, making it difficult to hear her commentary during the jeep tour. At the photo stops, she didn't get out to provide helpful insights since we couldn’t hear her while driving. Despite informing her several times about the speaker issue, we felt that we could have taken the same route in our own car for a much lower cost.
I’m not sure what tour others experienced, but ours was disappointing. The positives included stunning scenery and a friendly, competent driver. However, transportation felt minimal as there was hardly any narration. The PA system was said to be broken, which I understand, but at five stops, we were just instructed to take photos on our own. The guide stayed in the vehicle and didn’t offer to help with a family picture or share any stories. This was the worst tour I have been on; we could have easily driven ourselves and saved money. This was my first booking through TripAdvisor and I won't repeat that mistake.
