Abby was an excellent guide, providing an enjoyable tour. We loved discovering the city from a different perspective. Brew City efficiently facilitated the boat experience. My 17-year-old daughter and I really enjoyed our time in the tandem kayak.
We had a fantastic time on the Skyline Tour, spending two hours on the water. After exploring Milwaukee's architecture on foot, seeing the older buildings from the water offered a fresh perspective. Abbey, our guide, shared insightful history about the industrial structures, including details on their lean and future plans. For those wanting to appreciate the serene environment, she discussed the cleanup efforts in the area. The experience also included paddling and getting close to the bridges, making it a wonderful value for the time spent.
I had a great time on the Milwaukee River, exploring the city and gaining insight into its history from a unique perspective. Our guide was excellent, and the double kayak was quite comfortable. Thank you!
Having never kayaked before, I was uncertain about the experience, but my husband agreed to go tandem for my comfort. The tour turned out to be incredible. Viewing the skyline from the water offers a unique perspective, and our guide provided deep insights into Milwaukee's industrial history, architecture, and the significance of the Milwaukee River. We moved at a comfortable pace, observed many interesting sights, and enjoyed great discussions. I highly recommend this tour.
The assistant of the tour guide was unkind and unapproachable, even gesturing to me to stop walking, which left me stunned. He could have simply asked me to wait. The guide himself was not effective; he informed us we could use the port-a-potty but then rushed through his instructions before we had a chance to line up. We didn’t catch his name or what he said. Once we were on the river, there was no guidance. When he did speak, it was inaudible, despite my good hearing. The event was labeled as a “guided tour,” but it lacked any commentary about the area, history, or landmarks. It was truly disappointing. There were no breaks, and I needed to rest my arms. I spent the entire time focusing on keeping pace and missed out on appreciating the surroundings.
