This island is truly unique and beautiful, especially once you move away from the bustling port and shopping district. Having grown up in rural areas, the presence of horse manure and urine didn’t bother me, but having to constantly avoid it was not the way I wanted to spend my vacation. Overall, visiting the island was a worthwhile day trip, and I’m glad I did it.
This is an excellent way to explore the island. You can go at your own speed without straining to hear the guide. It's simple to set up on your phone, even for those who aren’t very tech-savvy. Plus, the insights from locals are delightful. I highly recommend it.
This tour was an excellent way to experience the island. Although 8 miles felt like a lot, the frequent stops to learn about the island made it manageable. While visiting the island can be pricey, this tour offered great value compared to others and was absolutely worthwhile.
The map is quite perplexing and fails to keep pace with the GPS on Mackinac Island, making it challenging to pinpoint our location. We had inconsistent audio, sometimes hearing information and other times not.
We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing day filled with breathtaking views. The weather was fantastic, and the island's charm and uniqueness truly stood out.
