AVOID THIS TOUR UNLESS YOU'RE WILLING TO PAY $278 PER PERSON FOR A 3-HOUR EXPERIENCE. I expected a 7-hour outing based on the description. After being picked up around 1 PM, we visited nearby beaches but missed Coopers Island, which I was really looking forward to exploring. The guide dropped us off at Warwick Long Bay at 3:30 PM and returned at 4:00 PM just to retrieve the umbrella, chairs, and cooler. That was the entire tour! I was shocked that we spent $556 for only 3 hours. The guide mentioned a mix-up with the tour operator regarding the duration, but despite being offered a partial refund, over a month has passed without any reimbursement. My follow-up attempts have gone unanswered.
We booked what was advertised as a 7-hour tour covering four beaches and an additional one at a Preserve. Unfortunately, the phone number provided in the email was incorrect, leaving us anxious about communication while traveling to Bermuda. Fortunately, Dean contacted us on the morning of our tour to confirm our pickup, for which we were grateful, but then our pickup was delayed by an hour to 2:00 PM. It seemed impossible to complete a 7-hour beach tour starting at that time. Afterward, I had a mishap at the visitor center, badly injuring my head and requiring seven stitches, resulting in us missing the tour altogether. We ended up losing the $400 since the tour was non-refundable. Moving forward, we think we will stick with Disney tours, as this experience felt uncertain, and we wouldn’t recommend this option. Nonetheless, the people in Bermuda were friendly and welcoming, and we plan to return in the future.
Request Dean for your tour; he's fantastic. His knowledge of the island made our experience truly special. I couldn't have asked for a better day. You must visit the beautiful beaches, and this was definitely the best way to do it.
Dean, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. He took photos for us, arranged our beach chair and umbrella, provided his personal bottle opener for our drinks, and even introduced us to his wife. Since we were the only two who booked that day, we truly appreciated the private tour of Bermuda's finest beaches.
Dean provided an excellent experience, taking us to hidden and distinctive beaches while sharing his extensive knowledge about the island's flowers and plants.
I felt a bit deserted at the abandoned hotel beach with just a bottle of rum and two bottles of water. The experience felt hurried, with only about 5 minutes at each beach. At $199 per person, it was definitely overpriced for what we got.
Dean was fantastic! Since we were the only two booked for a tour that day, we had a personal experience exploring the most beautiful beaches in Bermuda. He was definitely one of the best guides we encountered during our trip, showcasing great knowledge and kindness.
Dean provided a wealth of fascinating information. He was friendly, engaging, and very accommodating, making the experience ideal. We opted for this tour early in our vacation to determine which beaches we preferred the most.
We arranged the Bermuda Beach Hop Experience for a group of nine during our cruise, drawn by the promise of five beach stops and a four-hour visit to Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve. Unfortunately, the tour only included three beaches, with stays of just 10 to 20 minutes at two of them. We were not taken to Southlands Park or Cooper’s Island but instead spent three hours at Elbow Beach, which wasn’t in the itinerary. For $199 per person, the experience fell far short of expectations. When we reached out to customer service with timestamped photos and location data, our concerns were dismissed as Viator favored the operator’s account over ours. Although we cherished our time spent with family, it doesn’t make up for not receiving what was promised. Proceed with caution when booking through Viator, as it appears they prioritize the tour operator over the customer when issues arise.
We booked the Bermuda Beach Hop Experience for our group of 9 during our cruise, expecting five beach stops, particularly a four-hour visit to Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve, which was our primary reason for choosing this tour. Instead, we hurriedly visited only three beaches, spending only 10–20 minutes at two of them. We never went to Southlands Park or Cooper’s Island; instead, we were left at Elbow Beach for three hours, which was not part of the advertised itinerary. This experience failed to deliver what we paid $199 per person for. After reaching out to customer service and providing timestamped photos and location data, our claims were ignored while the operator's account was accepted without question. Although we enjoyed our time together as a family, that does not justify the disappointment of the excursion not matching what was promised. Be wary of booking through Trip Advisor; it appears they will prioritize the tour operator over customer concerns if issues arise.
