We had a wonderful time exploring the Douro with Bruno, who took us through stunning vineyards and narrow mountain roads to two intimate family wineries that are usually not accessible to the public. We tasted excellent wines and ports, enjoyed a lovely lunch made by one of the winery owners, and had the chance to talk with the winemakers about their family backgrounds and wine-making processes. Bruno's friendliness and expertise made the experience truly memorable.
Bruno was a fantastic guide, having grown up in the region. He took us along back roads to small towns for an authentic experience. We explored two local wineries, enjoying a great tasting at one. At the second winery, we received a personal tour from the owner and Isabelle, who also prepared a lovely lunch along with another wine tasting. Bruno conveniently picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Peso de Regua, sharing valuable insights about the Douro Valley during our drive. This experience surpassed anything we could have organized ourselves.

We truly experienced the highlights of the stunning Douro Valley. We visited two genuine small wineries, enjoyed the sight of ripe oranges and lemons on the trees, discovered ancient vines on terraces, and marveled at the misty clouds and snow-capped mountains. Throughout the journey, Bruno shared fascinating stories about the region's wine and its people. This was undoubtedly a five-star experience.
