This full-day trip begins with pickup from your La Serena accommodation. First, there’s a stop in the remote town of Huanta for breakfast at the last restaurant in the valley. After this, travel to the Juntas del Toro Border Complex where you will check in with the Carabinieri of Chile to access exclusive thermal baths at the foothills of Las Tortolas Hill, around 120 km from Vicuña, situated at an altitude of 3,300 metres above sea level.
The day includes options for a short trek to a hidden waterfall, followed by relaxation in the thermal baths while enjoying local wines paired with regional flavours. After a day of soaking and scenery, the day concludes back in Vicuña with a craft beer tasting accompanied by delicious pizzas.
