La Paz on a fork. Walking food tours through the markets, cooking classes with local chefs, tasting flights at the bars worth your time, and a couple of long lunches that double as the day's plan.
1Every winter, juvenile whale sharks, the largest fish on the planet, gather in La Paz Bay for food. Swimming alongside them is a unique experience that combines admiration and respect for these majestic creatures. Under the guidance of certified experts, you will enjoy a safe and educational encounter while learning about the importance of conservation. This activity not only connects you to nature, but also transforms your perspective on the sea and its wildlife.
2The experience is distinguished by offering more real time in the destinations, a careful and humane service, and logistics designed for you to enjoy without rush or crowds. We leave from strategic marinas closer to the island, which allows us to make better use of the day and reduce sailing times. We visit unspoilt and quiet beaches, snorkel with sea lions responsibly, and close the day in Balandra at sunset, one of the most special moments of the tour. All this accompanied by fresh Punta Baja style foods, drinks included, comfortable boats and certified guides that really engage in your experience. The same island... what changes is who you live with.
3In this Street Food Tour, you will taste carefully selected traditional dishes from unique Baja-style tacos, empanadas, and burritos to fresh seafood like famous "chocolata clams" or ceviche. We will walk through the beautiful downtown historic district visiting traditional food stands and landmarks like Malecón, Catedral, Mercado Madero, a traditional ranch store, and a unique butcher shop that produces "Machaca", a regional delicacy. While we stroll the city you will learn about the fascinating history of La Paz and the origins of California. This walking tour includes all the food, dessert, and one complementary drink. This tour is suited for all ages and could be adapted for vegetarians. We recommend that you bring a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes. Since the food is abundant come hungry and expect to cover both breakfast and lunch.
