Heritage walks, museum days, temple complexes, and the kind of guides who explain why a place matters rather than reciting dates. The cultural side of La Paz, paced for actual seeing.
Espiritu Santo Island is an incredible paradise that you will never forget! The experience of swimming with sea lions is very nice, they are playful and they usually come close to interact with the swimmers. (During the months of June, July, and August, swimming with sea lions in their rookery is not allowed, so we just see them from the boat and snorkel and/or hike at another site of the island) We always try to take our clients to the beaches where there are less people, so that they get a unique experience with the feeling of adventure that we like so much. Finally, learning about the history of the ancient settlers, the fauna and flora of the area, the current lifestyle of the locals, and being accompanied by marine biologist guides will make your day a very enriching one. It can only be visited on boats with permits and certified guides.
Balandra beach is accesible for everyone, but it is much more than the main beach that most visitors get to know. On this adventure, we'll take you into the depths and heights of Balandra, where you'll be able to learn about the local history, and the animals of the region. Our guides are all bilingual and marine biologists, with years of experience guiding tours.
In this Street Food Tour, you will taste carefully selected traditional dishes from unique Baja-style tacos, empanadas, and burritos to fresh seafood like famous "chocolata clams" or ceviche. We will walk through the beautiful downtown historic district visiting traditional food stands and landmarks like Malecón, Catedral, Mercado Madero, a traditional ranch store, and a unique butcher shop that produces "Machaca", a regional delicacy. While we stroll the city you will learn about the fascinating history of La Paz and the origins of California. This walking tour includes all the food, dessert, and one complementary drink. This tour is suited for all ages and could be adapted for vegetarians. We recommend that you bring a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes. Since the food is abundant come hungry and expect to cover both breakfast and lunch.
Discover the charm of La Paz on this guided tour through its historic center, where colonial architecture, lively plazas, and local stories come together. Visit the Regional Museum to explore the rich history and culture of Baja California Sur, then browse colorful creations at the handicrafts center, perfect for finding unique souvenirs. Next, we’ll head to the coast to admire the turquoise beauty of Playa Balandra, famous for its crystal-clear waters and iconic mushroom rock. As this is a protected natural area with a limited number of visitors allowed per day, we may instead visit another beautiful beach in La Paz if access is not available. Finally, unwind at Playa Tecolote, where you’ll enjoy a delicious Mexican meal in a beachfront restaurant, relax under provided umbrellas, and soak in the serene seaside atmosphere before returning to the city.

This unique adventure combines sandboarding at the famous dunes of El Mogote with an exciting UTV off-road journey through riverbeds, beaches and mountain trails starting from our historic ranch in El Coyote. You’ll either head first to El Mogote to ride down the soft golden dunes with our sandboards, or start with the UTV off-road route. The off-roading portion takes you through authentic Baja terrain, including rocky paths, desert landscapes, and scenic viewpoints, before reaching the beautiful coastal area at Tecolote Beach, then returning to the ranch. Unlike standard single-location tours, this experience takes place in two of La Paz’s most iconic natural settings, offering both adrenaline and stunning scenery in one trip. Small groups, local guides, and a private ranch setting make this a more personal and less crowded alternative to typical ATV tours. The tour finishes back at the ranch, where you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.
