Alfredo was friendly and very knowledgeable, making our hike and tour an outstanding experience. He picked us up from our hotel and shared fascinating insights about El Salvador's history and geography on the way to the hiking start point. We hiked to the waterfalls, where we enjoyed swimming; although we didn’t jump in, Alfredo made sure we had a great time. We had a fun photo session at the falls, and he kindly offered to hold our bags while capturing plenty of pictures and videos for our album. After the hike, we had lunch at a restaurant on the black beach, where the large waves almost reached us at the table. Our meal and conversations with him were delightful. Post-lunch, we stopped at a local vendor to get fresh coconut water. If you can only do one activity in El Salvador, make sure to participate in the Wet and Wild: Tamanique Waterfalls and El Tunco Beach experience. It truly is phenomenal. This experience was incredible! The waterfalls were stunning and definitely worth the hike. Alfredo, our tour guide, prioritized our safety while navigating the trails. Enjoying lunch at El Tunco Beach was both relaxing and delightful, with tasty food and lovely ocean views. Our driver, David, was excellent too. Overall, beautiful and kind people made for an amazing outing. I would absolutely choose to tour with them again!
This tour is absolutely essential! Francisco Olano is excellent, fluent in both English and Spanish, with clear communication. We also had the local guide Don Pedro, who is fantastic. Together, they create a dynamic duo that ensures you feel secure. There's plenty of information provided and a wonderful swim under the waterfall. I had an amazing time and highly recommend this tour.
Vilma was an outstanding guide, always attentive to our needs and ensuring that my husband’s food allergies were properly accommodated at the restaurant. The fish taco lunch was delicious. We had a wonderful experience at the waterfalls, enjoying the natural slide and jumping off the cliff. Vilma even captured videos and pictures for us without us asking. We highly recommend this tour, but be aware that the return hike is quite steep.

Her excellent English and insightful commentary about El Salvador, coupled with her help in learning some Spanish, made the experience memorable. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and she ensured that the lunch vendor understood the importance of this, allowing me to relax and enjoy the meal despite my usual concerns in seafood-heavy areas. My wife and I cherished every moment with her and quickly scheduled another tour for a couple of days later. Thank you for a fantastic day!
