After white water rafting, you will get a clean towel and a water bottle, and we’ll take you to a local restaurant to have a Costa Rica style lunch Daily tours leave at 08:30 am from La Fortuna for our Class IV White Water Rafting Adventure on the Balsa River and includes round trip transportation from local La Fortuna hotels, all equipment, guides, fruit on the river, towels, water, & costarican lunch. 04White Water Rafting Class II & III!! A fun combination of whitewater thrills and areas where the water is docile enough to jump in and go for a swim. This is perfect for a family adventure and for beginners. Wildlife abound in this section of the Balsa so keep an eye out for sloths, iguanas, howler monkeys and a vast array of tropical birds. However this trip is not all about relaxation. The rolling, tumbling class 2-3 rapids will be enough to bring laughter and excitement to the whole family. The trip will be guided by our awesome and safe guides that could make a puddle of mud fun. As with every trip, there will be one stop for locally grown, organic fruits and another stop for an authentic Costa Rican lunch, you’ll also learn about the growing, harvesting, production of chocolate, medical plants, fruits and sugar cane.
05The Sarapiquí River is one of the most exuberant rivers in the area with continues rapids class 4 and 3 for over 2 hours, with lots of wildlife during the descent like sloths, monkeys, toucan’s and more. This river is considered a Natural Monument of Costa Rica due to its nature and cultural history. The 3,739-hectare La Selva Biological Station is located in this region, one of the three most important neotropical ecological research and conservation stations in Costa Rica, owned by the Organization for Tropical Studies. 09The tours are available during the day from 7am to 4pm, here our guides and staff members will be waiting for you to give one of the greatest experience and must do experiences in Costa Rica and Arenal area. Smal Rainforest where you will have the oporttunity of finding two and three toes sloth as well the beatifull poison froags and some species of birds such as the Toucan. nice short activity if you dont have time to visit all the attractions of the country.
10We have 4 descents, 2 canopy lines, 3 jumps to natural pools, lockers, showers and trails. We maintain the protocols required by the Ministry of Health
11This activity will lead to our Sloth Park to start, we will walk trough the rainforest 1.5 to 2 hours inside the trails and you can get to see two and three toes sloths and some poisonous froags and snakes even birds. Done with the hike we will visit the second section of the the park to get your amazing chocolate coffee and sugar tasting along all the information provided in by our tour guides. Very instructive and educative tour!!
