Ben, the rafting guide, was both professional and humorous, making sure my family had a great time on the river. The rapids were well-suited to the skill level of my family, including our younger member.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the river. Our guide ensured we felt safe and at ease, and the river itself was stunning. There were plenty of chances to build our skills and confidence before tackling the rapids, as well as opportunities to appreciate the scenery amid the more thrilling waves.
I had an amazing time rafting! The team brought incredible energy and really enhanced the entire experience. Special thanks to Curtis for being a fantastic guide and adding so much fun to the trip! Grateful to everyone at Kootenay River Runners.
It was an incredible experience! Our guide, Bill, has been leading tours for 13 seasons. He made the time enjoyable while still presenting a good challenge. The rapids were definitely real!
This trip was incredible. The scenery was breathtaking, and the rapids were enjoyable. Our guide, Dave, ensured we felt safe throughout, catering to two 48-year-olds and a 17-year-old. I highly recommend it. At the end, you even get the chance to jump into the ice-cold water.
The guide was fantastic, full of knowledge and humor. The experience was exciting, enjoyable, and definitely very wet.
I had a fantastic afternoon navigating the Kicking Horse rapids. The location is easy to locate, especially if you follow the directions provided on the website, whether you're heading up or down the highway. All necessary gear is supplied, along with straightforward instructions for its use. There are two changing tents, one for males and one for females, which are quite basic but provide a bench. After getting dressed, there’s a thorough safety briefing that addresses all possible scenarios. Then, we moved to the rafts for further safety instructions. The river guides made the entire experience enjoyable and fun while sharing their knowledge about the surrounding area. Overall, it was a truly great adventure.
This rafting adventure was enjoyable and provided stunning views, allowing us to see the river and mountains from a unique angle. Peter was an excellent guide. We spent roughly 90 minutes on the river, which passed quickly. The rapids were thrilling and the current was swift, yet it felt safe for those who might be anxious, like my wife.
I had some initial doubts about the Whitewater rafting trip, but my husband assured me it would be enjoyable, and he was absolutely correct. The journey began gently, allowing us to acclimate before tackling more intense rapids, which were incredibly thrilling. Our guide, Curtis, was very knowledgeable about the area and expertly navigated us through the challenging spots. We felt safe and grateful for the incredible experience he provided. I would highly recommend this adventure. 5+ stars.
