Sean was an excellent guide who was attentive when I experienced motion sickness. While I find this tour rather pricey, I genuinely recommend against attempting the drive alone. Sean highlighted many details that we would have missed if we had gone without him. The road is highly dangerous for those unfamiliar, and if my husband had driven, he would have been quite anxious, leaving me even more unwell. I'm pleased I took the tour, as the beach at the end was beautiful. Although it may not be my top activity in Maui, I’m glad to have experienced it. I urge others to consider their susceptibility to motion sickness and to invest in a tour guide for a much more enjoyable experience, as it would have been uncomfortable without one.
