Haleakala was awe-inspiring, spiritual, and quite cold, so layering is recommended. Lunch at Hailiimaile General Store was excellent—large portions, swift service, and delicious food. I had higher expectations. While I understand it was a crater tour, I anticipated more features to explore. Gabriel made an effort to engage us, but there wasn't much to see.

We also enjoyed a nice lunch at the nearby restaurant. Overall, it was a fantastic way to spend the day.
